Don’t take it for granted!!!

This picture was taken back when I was still living in Bohol, Philippines. This was just an ordinary day. We were driving home from visiting my family that lives 30 min. from us.

I was playing with my new phone and decided to take a snap of this wonderful sunset. We always have beautiful sunsets in Bohol but have been ignoring it when I was living there. Now that I am away from my first home. I am starting to miss it. The awesome sunsets and sunrises. The beaches and the sands. 😊 Kids playing while their parents are singing videoke. 😂 I miss the community that’s very laidback and accepting.

My point is. “Enjoy every little things in life and you’ll find real happiness.”

Scarred Heart (my first published poetry book)

It has been quite a while since I visited this account. 🙂 It’s either I have been too busy or I have been really lazy updating this blog.

I have a pretty nice news. I have been working on a poetry book and it’s already out on Amazon. It is a collection of my poetry and prose.

I have been working for months and I couldn’t be happier. It has always been a dream of mine to publish a book.:)414

Melody’s Key by Dallas Coryell

“His eyes settled on her… piercing green embers of flame that revealed the ferocity of his pain and passion, yet still shrouded him under veils of ever deepening mystery that made every ounce of her ache to unravel him.”

Tegan Lockwood’s dreams were dead, sacrificed on the noble altar of duty before they ever had a chance to live. Her entire existence was disappearing into the abyss of apathy as she labored her days away keeping her family’s struggling business alive. There would be no emotion, no color, no beauty in her life. That is, until a mysterious visitor begins to draw her out of the darkness of her past towards something that will challenge the boundaries of her world, and unlock the most deeply held secrets of her heart.

4.5 stars

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!!! 🙂 So if you saw my review in Goodreads, you’ll see that I give it 5 stars. I can’t figure out how to click on the star to make it .5  if that makes sense. lol

I love “love stories”. But like what I said. Love stories nowadays are very predictable. And they’re lacking of substance that I am looking for.

I wasn’t really expecting a lot from this book. I thought it is going to be another love story that I knew I’d like because I am a sucker for love stories. But this book is just amazing. It has depth and that certain something that I have been looking for. But of course it’s predictable. You’d know they’d end up together. But it doesn’t make the story not exciting. The characters are very well developed.

This book is very well written.

Hi guys! How’s your day?

I am just going to share my diet to all of you guys. I’m not sure if it’s healthy enough. 🙂 And sorry about the picture.. I know it’s not a food picture. But I don’t have a nice picture of food.

If you have been following me on instagram you’d know by now how much I love coffee. And that’s how I start my day. -a warm cup of coffee

I am a night owl. I love staying up late at night. It feels nice and it relaxes me a lot. Being a night owl, it is so hard for me to wake up early. So my husband would wake me up with a cup of coffee. Awesome right? A coffee in bed.

For breakfast:

~I will have 3 pcs of bacon sometimes 4 pcs 🙂 or sausage or ham

~1 egg

~1 bread or peanut butter and jelly

~fruits: any kind just to take the oil of the bacon out of my mouth

For lunch:

~I don’t usually have lunch. 🙂

~But if I do. I usually just eat fruits. (any kind of fruits)

~and a chocolate (my favorite is snickers)

~another cup of coffee 🙂

(don’t judge me) lol

My dinner is always a big meal.

~1 pc of chicken leg or 1 pc of pork chops (0r any kind of meat) or fish

~mashed potato, 1.5 cups of rice (i’m a Filipino. We eat rice 3 times a day) or any carbs

~vegetable salad if I make fried chicken or fried pork chop 🙂

~and don’t forget the dessert

another cup of coffee

Try to drink 8 glasses of water a day.

And yes I eat fast foods. But only once a week.

I love home cooked foods.

You guys. I am not telling you to follow my diet. But so far I haven’t gained weight yet. lol MODERATE SIZE PORTIONS ARE THE BEST.

Call Your Girlfriend LYRICS- Robyn

There’s only one thing I can say about this song. Amazing. When I heard this song I was like is the new girlfriend giving her two-timing  boyfriend an advice to break up with his first girlfriend? The nerve. But as I listen to it more I thought that it was really the girlfriend acting as the third person in the song.

And as a woman or a girl. I agree with the song. If you want to break up with someone try to be nice about it. What I meant by nice is you don’t have to be so mean. Don’t leave them more scars.

Nobody likes a boyfriend/girlfriend stealer.

*Call your girlfriend

It’s time you had the talk

Give your reasons

Say it’s not her fault

But you just met somebody new

Tell her not to get upset, second-guessing

everything you said and done

And then when she gets upset tell her how you

never meant to hurt no one

Then you tell her that the only way

her heart will mend is when she learns

to love again

And it won’t make sense

right now

but you’re still her friend

And then you let her down easy

*Call your girlfriend

It’s time you had the talk

Give your reasons

Say it’s not her fault

But you just met somebody new

Don’t you tell her

how I give you something

that you never even knew you missed

Don’t you even try and explain

how it’s so different when we kiss

And you just tell her that the only way

her heart will mend is

when she learns to love again

And it won’t make sense right now

but you’re still her friend

And then you let her down easy

Anna and the FRENCH KISS

 4 stars

Anna is happy in Atlanta. She has a loyal best friend and a crush on her coworker at the movie theater, who is just starting to return her affection. So she’s less than thrilled when her father decides to send her to a boarding school in Paris for her senior year. But despite not speaking a word of French, Anna meets some cool new people, including the Étienne St. Clair, who quickly becomes her best friend. Unfortunately, he’s taken-and Anna might be too. Will a year of romantic near misses end with the French kiss she’s been waiting for.

Ok. Please don’t hate me. I loved the book. But I am just going to give it 4 stars.  It doesn’t have that umph (like a punch on the face feeling) lol. It was predictable. huhuhu.  😦

But overall. I enjoyed it. It is a very cute story. And I’m sure lots bookworms enjoyed it more than I did. 🙂
